We spent four nights at this lovely family-run hotel. The rooms were spacious by local standards and comfortable, with regular beds, a sitting area, a couch, and a safe. There’s a shared refrigerator in the hallway and a private onsen in the basement that was wonderfully relaxing after skiing. The proprietor and his mother were so sweet, and breakfast was delicious. A lovely guesthouse for a Nozawa trip.

We were here for two nights of skiing in Nozawa-Onsen. A shuttle to the ski lifts comes every 15-20 minutes, and the ride takes about 5-10 minutes. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff were very friendly.

The room was large and had its own bathroom, and the shared bath had a nice onsen. The staff were friendly and helpful, and gave me plenty of local tips. Nagasaka ski gondola and lifts are convenient to reach, as is the main street by Nozawa shuttle bus. Thank you, Villa Kubota.

A tasty breakfast, clean cozy rooms, and a quiet atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful. It’s well placed near a ski shuttle stop and within walking distance of the town center.
