Dinners were really good, especially if you like hotpot like I do. Breakfast was nice, though a bit cold. The owner was friendly and helpful, and all the good reviews are true. We had a very pleasant stay! The traditional bedroom was lovely, it felt like being in a movie to us. The public bathroom and onsen were almost always empty, and I managed to have baths alone there the whole stay. Everything was clean. The location is great, near the lift and an easy walk downtown. The rental ski equipment service here has the best prices in town, with good selections.

At Nozawaonsen Wafu Pension MIYAZAWA, the owner was patient and attentive while fitting our snow gear, and was always ready to help. It was the cheapest snow gear hire we found anywhere in Nozawaonsen. The meals were affordable and absolutely delicious. Dinner offered two soups, miso and kimchi stew, and the miso was incredible, honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, the warm, friendly service made us feel at home. On our last day I injured myself skiing, and the owner personally drove us to the bus station. That kindness meant more than words can say. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality and care. We’re deeply grateful and would highly recommend staying here.

The meals were a real highlight, especially the beef dinner, and the service was outstanding. We spent six nights at Wafu Pension Miyazawa with breakfast and dinner included. Our room had its own shower and toilet; it was cosy for five people, but still great. The pension is about a five-minute walk from the Nagasaka gondola and an easy walk downhill to the village centre. Nozawa made for an amazing holiday, and staying here was one of its highlights.

The meals stood out most for us: breakfast and dinner felt luxurious while still being reasonably priced. The owner also took great care adjusting the snowboard gear, which was affordable and in excellent condition. We really appreciated that sincere service. Our room was warm, clean, cozy, and well organized, and everything was well maintained. This was the best accommodation experience I’ve had skiing in Japan. If I return to Nozawa, this hotel will be my first choice. Thanks for such a wonderful stay, and wishing you continued success. Hope to see you again!

There are washing machines and a dryer for guests, and the ski and snowboard rentals cost much less than at other rental shops. The triple room was clean, comfortable, and roomy, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast comes in four varieties, and dinner is traditional Japanese food. I had a really good stay. Highly recommend!!!
