Hotel Route-Inn Oogaki Inter

There are 118 single rooms and 21 twin rooms, and the front desk staff were very helpful. Breakfast is free, though it gets busiest around 7:00 AM, so it's worth checking the room TV first. The front desk also offers free Doutor Coffee. Rooms have jinbei pajamas, plus a humidifier and air purifier. There aren't convenience stores nearby, but a 7-Eleven is roughly halfway between Ogaki IC and Route Inn, and four or five restaurants are close by for dinner. For parking, there's a 16-car surface lot and a two-level garage for 117 cars, with the entrance directly from the lot. A second lot is a bit farther away and can take large vehicles, and there's a third lot as well. EV charging is available. From Ogaki IC, it's about a five-minute drive along a straight road, but you need to turn right at the next intersection rather than drive straight into the hotel. The location works well for tourists and business travelers.

I was very glad to find a Route Inn a little farther from the station, since Ogaki doesn't have many hotels and the ones near the station are expensive. On this business trip, I booked late and was waitlisted for a non-smoking room, but it never opened up, so I got a smoking room instead. They said it had been deodorized, but as a non-smoker I have a more sensitive nose, and the smell still bothered me. The large public bath was very clean and relaxing, and breakfast was delicious with a decent range of choices. I was very satisfied overall.

This was my first stay here on a business trip. I often use hotels in the same chain, and Nagoya Sakae usually wins by a landslide for the breakfast included in the room price. This time, though, this hotel beat it. The food was delicious. The front desk and breakfast staff were both pleasant and courteous. Even though it's on a main road, the place was quiet and comfortable. I'd like to stay again. Thank you.

We were at a motorcycle owners' gathering, and the hotel reserved space for about 20 bikes on the first floor of the multi-story garage. It started raining when we all headed out for dinner, so we asked for help and the hotel brought out all its umbrellas. That was a big help, and it made for a wonderful memory!
