The receptionist was really friendly. When I asked about a nearby convenience store, she pointed me toward the station, where a food shop on the second floor, Asti maybe, had a good selection. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was convenient. Breakfast was good too, and we'd definitely stay again.

There was barely any English spoken and hardly any other foreigners around, but I expected that and it was fine. I came as a foreigner mainly to see the famous spots from the film Koe no Katachi, and the hotel itself was really nice. It was also the real-life reference for AOBUTA Season 1 Episode 2, where Mai and Sakuta stayed in this very hotel. I loved my time in Ogaki and will definitely come back.

The next morning's breakfast was the most relaxed one I've had at a Super Hotel. I went down for the free breakfast at 6:30 AM, found no line, picked up a tray, filled my plate at my own pace, and sat down without any hassle. The white rice was especially delicious, with a great chewy texture. The woman who had checked me in was working in the dining room too, and she even cleared my tray as soon as she saw it, though guests normally clear their own dishes. Her kindness from check-in through breakfast really impressed me. I didn't see her name tag, but Super Hotel Ogaki is in good hands as long as she's there. I had to move my stay back a day. After a terrible night at the worst hotel I'd ever stayed in, I learned there was a Super Hotel in Ogaki and booked through the app. Getting a room was easy, and I checked in at 3 PM. The same woman was preparing breakfast the next morning, and she made check-in pleasant with her hospitality. My room was spotless, and maybe because I'd slept so badly the night before, I nodded off as soon as I got into bed. There wasn't a convenience store right nearby, which was inconvenient, but a shortcut from the parking lot got me to the store at the station in about five minutes. I picked up a late-night snack there. The hotel from the day before had been so awful that everything here felt just right. Thank you for such wonderful service.

For a business trip, I spent 4-5 nights here and tried both a basic single room and a loft-style one. Staff were excellent, and I liked being able to choose bedding, pillows, and amenities near the front desk. The rooms were quiet, unlike ones near train tracks. The coin laundry was a nice extra, with washing and drying starting at ¥100. My small gripe is that there isn't a USB port by the bed. There are regular outlets, but if you want to lie down and use your device or relax, bring an extension cord. Some days it's hard to use with DP (Dual Admission), but if the price is right, this would be my first booking in the area. I'd stay again if I get the chance.

It's much like other Super Hotels, and the free breakfast was about what you'd expect for the price, though it wasn't especially good. The location wasn't great for me: it's a bit far from the station and there aren't convenience stores nearby. For some reason I got a bunk-bed room, which made an already small room feel even more cramped. There's just one elevator, so it gets crowded in the morning.
