There are shops and restaurants right nearby, bus stops close at hand, and Õita station is about a 10-minute walk away. The staff are polite, courteous, and very helpful. A comprehensive breakfast buffet has Japanese and Western choices, and tea, coffee, and toiletries are available. It’s a clean, modern hotel and a good base. If you’re after a bit more comfort and luxury, though, it may not suit you.

The smooth, efficient check-in made for a relaxing start, and I was welcomed with a complimentary glass of wine. Coffee is available in the lobby around the clock, which I really appreciated. My room had a pleasant view of the street, felt more spacious than other hotels nearby, and Netflix was a nice extra. This is one of my favorite places to stay when I travel to Japan, and I’d recommend it to others.

I’m here for work and need to sleep during the day, so noise from outside and the cleaning staff can be an issue. The room is smaller than I’m used to in North America, but still comfortable, and the bathroom is clean and nice. I’d definitely recommend staying here.
