Hotel Zaaz

It got a little noisy around midnight and later, maybe because there’s a bar district nearby. I also found the lighting a bit dim. Aside from that, no real problems. The front desk service was excellent, and they took time to explain things carefully even though there were just two of us. Our room was good, with an average view through the window. The bathroom and toilet were separate, the toilet was clean, and the bathroom had decent space. The bed was comfortable, and it was great being able to watch YouTube on the TV. We had a very comfortable stay.

(February 20, 2025) The back exit was a nice touch. After a night out, I could get back to my room without passing the front desk, which spared me the embarrassment I’d worried about when I came back bright red. The hotel is in the downtown area, so finding a bar on a whim was easy. It’s a bit away from the station, but there are several parking lots nearby. I stayed in a resort single room, and it was roomy and comfortable even with my luggage spread out. The bathroom and toilet were separate, with a washing area too. It costs a little more than other business hotels, but whether that’s worth it depends on what you value. I’d stay here again if I get the chance.

It’s convenient for restaurants and other activities, since the hotel is in the downtown area. The rooms are roomy and comfortable, and the bathroom has a separate shower area. Finding the place can be a little tricky because it’s on a back street. The hotel parking is in a multi-story lot, so vans and other large vehicles have to use nearby parking instead.

The price was reasonable for a decent-length stay. At check-in, I had to switch rooms because the first one smelled strongly of stale cigarette smoke. The second room was very pleasant. I’m not sure whether they have separate non-smoking rooms, so you may want to ask the front desk.
