The food was a highlight, especially the soy milk hotpot with pork and the sashimi. Meals were healthy, tasty, and offered at a few different times. After hiking in the rain, the laundromat’s ten-minute dryer was a lifesaver, and the room stayed comfortable. We also liked the yukatas, onsen, and massage chairs. We were here for one night on our honeymoon, and the location made it easy to explore Atera Valley. A new community e-bike trial was a great way to see the villages, so ask ahead about it since they arrange drop-off. There’s also a free pickup from Nojiri station. Such a relaxing stay.
