Ohmihachiman Station Hotel

The bed was a little too hard for me, and I would have preferred a softer one. Parking is free and underground, but there are few spaces and it’s tight, so maneuvering in a crowded lot takes care. Otherwise, I enjoyed my stay at the Omihachiman Station Hotel. It’s right by Omihachiman Station, and though the building is old and the locks are traditional, everything was well maintained. The welcome coffee is self-service and free, a nice chance to relax, and the room Wi-Fi was excellent. The bath was deep enough to warm my shoulders thoroughly. Breakfast is free and comes as toast with an omelet, which was just right for a light meal.

The hotel is conveniently close to the station. The showers and other in-room amenities aren’t the newest, but they were clean and comfortable enough for a business traveler. There are laundry facilities with two washing machines, and the front desk lends out liquid detergent for free.

Parking is underground, but the lot is small, so maneuvering can be tricky when it’s crowded. The rooms are spacious for a business hotel, and the unit baths are roomy too.

There’s not much that stands out about this place. Breakfast is toast, and I’d like them to add milk.
