Spa Franping Village Omuta - Caravan park

We were looking for somewhere near Greenland to stay on our way back to Kagoshima, and this seemed fun for our young kids. We were happy with the stay, and the kids especially enjoyed it. The trailer had plenty of space, but the floor looked like age was catching up with it and it might be close to giving way. If that were improved, I’d definitely come back. The toilet inside seemed more like a bonus, and I worried about smell and noise, so we used one in a nearby park instead. I was surprised by how clean the park toilet was.

We made a lovely memory here over spring break with my extended family. It was my first time staying in a trailer house, and I’d been a little unsure, but the facilities were better than expected and we were comfortable. There are shops within walking distance, which made things easy. For dinner, we went together to a nearby discount store and supermarket, bought whatever everyone wanted, especially with the children in mind, and had a BBQ. It seems you can order a BBQ set too.

There was lots to do beyond staying overnight, with hot springs, karaoke, a gym, and a fishing pond. The BBQ was satisfying, and I felt comfortable in the room, almost like being a kid again. Convenience stores, drugstores, and supermarkets are nearby, so it’s easy to pick something up if you’ve forgotten it. Great location, and I’d love to come back.

I found this while searching Rakuten Travel for somewhere to stay alone on a work trip to Omuta. The trailer option for one person wasn’t too expensive, so I decided to try it, and I was excited when I got there. There’s a large spa area in the same accommodation zone, with a restaurant, manga cafe, and gym. The manga cafe even has a fireplace and couch, which felt like a good deal. The trailer itself is small and the bed is hard, but it felt authentic and I enjoyed the camping feel. It’s comfortable enough, with air conditioning, heating, and a TV. If you’re in the area for work, I definitely recommend stopping by.
