The hotel was spotless and relaxing, and we hope to come back. We spent two wonderful days at Onomichi Hansei, where the team communicated with us in English, especially Masamoto and Onomi. We had two dinners there, each one different and full of local specialties. Wearing traditional yukatas for dinner and breakfast was a lovely touch. The hospitality was excellent, and we’re grateful for such a great stay.

The seven-course meal was one of the best I’ve ever had, and the service was excellent. It’s a small but very pleasant hotel, so I don’t understand why it’s rated only two stars.

Even the towels were Imabari towels, which shows the attention to detail here. The staff were attentive, and both dinner and breakfast were delicate and wonderful. This hidden gem in Onomichi is a tiny but luxurious boutique hotel in the region, and I’d recommend it to anyone who appreciates the little things.

Dinner was thoughtfully prepared, and it was a chance to enjoy local fish. The room was small but had everything I needed, and the TV and Sony speaker were good. I loved the hotel and its hospitality. It’s a place to get a taste of local Japanese life and enjoy good service.
