Apa Nambakita Shinsaibashi Ekimae Hotel

The beds were a good size, but the rooms themselves were really cramped. At night, traffic and motorcycles were easy to hear. I also found dust on the headboard, tissue box, and shampoo bottles. The APA bag sometimes seems to have everything except towels. Check-in staff were nice, while the morning staff were just okay.

The place was very clean, but this was the worst APA we've stayed at. The heating couldn't be adjusted and stayed at 24 degrees C, so unless it was cold outside, the only option seemed to be opening a window. The old, lumpy mattress and pillows were really terrible.

There was construction going on right outside our window during the stay, and the bed was awful. Why not add another mattress or use a thicker, more comfortable one?

We chose a two-bedroom room so my partner and I could spread out our luggage, and that worked really well. The rooms are small, so it may suit solo travelers best. Check-in was easy, and the hotel is in a lively area full of vintage clothing shops, with everything we needed nearby. We didn't need to speak with staff after arriving because the TV had all the information. I'd stay here again without hesitation.
