APA Hotel Tennoji Ekimae

The bed was a little hard, so it still wouldn’t be my pick if sleep comfort is your main concern. Service gets a neutral 3 from me, since nothing was wrong, I just didn’t need anything special. For an APA, this is by far the biggest room I’ve slept in across Japan, though it’s still small by most standards. Right next to the station, there’s enough room to open your luggage comfortably and still walk around. Getting to the station is nearly step-free, but you have to use the nearby building’s elevator to cross the road. I’d stay here again in Osaka for the room size, travel access and value.

There are lots of places to eat close by, which makes the location handy. I stayed at APA Hotel again, and while the room was a little small, it was tidy and clean. Plenty of amenities made things convenient.

The train station is under a 3 minute walk away, and there are loads of shops and restaurants nearby. The friendly staff made the month-long stay a pleasure. I absolutely loved it. People complaining about the small rooms are overlooking the location.

With two twin beds almost touching, there’s hardly space to get in and out. Storage is scarce too: no closet or drawers, just wall pegs with hangers. For one night, it’s a great hotel because it’s close to the train station. I wouldn’t recommend it for a longer stay.
