Apartment Hotel 11 Umeda

For the price, it was a good place with complete amenities. The train station was only about a five-minute walk, and there were lots of places to eat nearby. We used it as our starting point for trips to Nara, Amanohashidate, and Tokyo.

We had a very nice, clean room with a kitchenette. There were loads of shops and places to eat close by, and Osaka Castle was within walking distance.

The apartment was clean and in a convenient spot, but the light inside the room was dim. The bigger problem was noise: it sits right by the railway, so trains could be heard passing all day and even at midnight. I wouldn't recommend it for families. It's an apartment without a reception desk or real-time help, and there's no cloakroom for suitcases. You may need to use the lockers in the nearby area for your luggage.

The apartment was compact, with no dedicated wardrobe or dresser space, so it could feel limiting if you stay longer or bring a lot of luggage. For a few nights, though, it worked fine. Everything was clean, tidy, functional, and fitted out in a modern style. It's relatively new and well maintained. Osaka Umeda Station is just a short walk away, which made getting around for sightseeing and day trips very convenient. We had a pleasant stay at Apartment hotel 11 Umeda (DDC Umeda).
