At RLiS House Osaka Domecity

It was good value, but we wouldn’t stay here again. Booking.com describes it as soundproof, yet there’s no soundproofing at all. The place is right by a large road and a fire department, so at night we heard every car and lots of sirens.

The host gave detailed instructions for everything we needed during the stay. The place is very close to 7-eleven and lawson, and Taisho station, a JR station, is about a 10-15 minute walk away. I had a really nice stay and hope to stay here again if I come back.

After a trip of hotel rooms, it was nice to have an apartment instead. Everything was clean and pleasant, and self check-in was easy. This was the first time on my trip I’d had a comfortable bed!

The location worked well for us. Restaurants, shops, a post office and convenience stores were all within walking distance, and Osaka Station was easy to reach from the nearest train station. A decent accommodation choice overall. We slept well, and the bed had plenty of room for two. The small apartment had the basics, plus an iron and hairdryer. The washing machine and simple drying rack were useful. There was enough room unless you have the large suitcases that open in half, which made things a little cramped. Cleaning was thorough in most places, though they missed some crumbs and debris on the coffee table. No other major room complaints. One check-in detail: the lobby tablet won’t find your reservation before the exact check-in time, which can be worrying. Just wait a bit. There’s seating and coffee tables in the lobby if you need to hang around.
