Shirakabanoyado Doutonbori

The building has an elevator, which made bringing up luggage easier. The room was fairly spacious, with towels, basic toiletries, a kettle, and a microwave. You're right in the heart of dontobori. There's no front desk for check-in, so everything is handled remotely and you collect the keys from a combination-storage box.

I was really happy I chose Shirakaba no Yado. It's just a short distance from Doutonburi Street, and the station, shopping center, and conbini are all within walking distance. The room had plenty of useful things, including a microwave, water boiler, hair dryer, and mini fridge. It was my first self check-in hotel, but the instructions and directions were VERY CLEAR, so getting into the room was no trouble. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

The room looked clean, but the corridor and outside of the building seemed run-down. The internet was extremely slow and unstable, and the water supply stops when the tank runs empty, so be prepared for that. It's in a mini Chinatown, which may be handy if you want authentic Chinese food like smelly tofu and spicy grill. The location is good, maybe too good. Probably best for people planning to party until early morning.

The room was much larger than I expected and had both a dining table and microwave. It's close to the center of Doutonbori's shopping and food district. Check-in was contactless and straightforward, using a pin code to retrieve the room keys.
