Crice Hotel

The sleeping setup was awful. There’s one double bed, and the so-called futon is a thin, rock-hard mat on the floor. It was extremely uncomfortable, especially for older adults, and even my kids hated it. The bath towels were dirty and stained, too, which was unacceptable. During my six days there, no fresh towels were provided, so I had to reuse the same one. You’re also expected to take out your own trash. I was on Level 3, and the guests on Level 4 stomped and ran their washing machine late at night. I couldn’t sleep properly for the whole stay. The place was loud in general, and ambulance sirens could be heard frequently throughout the day. The washers are available, but the dryers don’t use heat like they do in the U.S. My clothes still weren’t dry after 10 hours, so I hung them all around the room. This is more like an Airbnb or apartment setup than a traditional hotel, so be aware before booking. It’s a convenient five-minute walk to the station, but the nearby restaurants weren’t great. We ate at the mall food court or got reasonably priced food from the supermarket. There’s a McDonald’s about a seven-minute walk away if you want something familiar. I was very disappointed with the Crice Hotel and definitely wouldn’t stay here again on my next Osaka trip.
