Four Points Flex by Sheraton Osaka Shinsaibashi

There was a small problem with our room at check-in, but the manager discussed it with us and kindly offered a minor upgrade. That was great service. The staff were extremely friendly when we arrived, and even with my limited Japanese, they helped us well in English. The kindness and respect here go a long way, and I’d stay again.

The lobby waiting area is nicely set up, with decent coffee and fruit water, and both the lobby and room were very clean. The room wasn’t large, but it was arranged well. The location is perfect for getting to shopping, restaurants, and metro transit. Highly recommend.

Service was great, with friendly staff and very good room service. Entry 7 to the shinsaibashi metro is a couple of minutes away, with shopping, konbinis, and food nearby. As a westerner, I found the standard room, at 14 Sqm, small. Most of the space is the corridor from the entrance to the bedroom. It’s manageable for a couple, but not really suited to one, especially if you like room to spread out or aren’t good at managing a tight space.

For me as a solo traveler, the compact room was just right and had everything I needed. Families might find it too small. The hotel is a fantastic budget option, two minutes on foot from Shinsaibashi station and well placed for shopping and dining around Namba/Dotonburi and Shinsaibashi. Staff were friendly and professional. There are two coin operated washer/dryers on the ground floor, free self serve coffee and tea by reception, and bath amenities including pajamas there too.
