Garner Osaka Honmachi Kita Semba by IHG

I spent 10 nights here and had no bad experiences. The hotel is fairly new, and the facilities were all in good shape. It sits on a quiet street, but several stations serving different metro lines are nearby. They even offered late checkout, which helped me get straight to the airport from the hotel. The rooms were neat and very clean. Staff at the desk spoke English and provided great service. There was welcome tea and snacks, and you could pick up essentials like bathrobes and toiletries near reception. The dining space had free coffee, tea and hot water, plus coin laundry and snacks and drinks for sale.

We spent five nights here and really enjoyed the hotel. The room was small, but we made it work with two adults and our luggage. The air conditioning and humidifier were especially welcome and necessary. It was in a quieter area where we could unwind each evening, while still being close enough to get around. Using the laundry was convenient, too. We'd definitely stay again if we're back in Osaka.

The front desk team were helpful with everything, even arranging to send our luggage on to our next destination. We also liked the comfortable social hub and the complimentary coffee and tea. The room was small but comfortable. I did find it odd that this IHG property didn't include breakfast, as most other IHG hotels do. Garner Hotel in Kyoto provides breakfast every day, so I'd be glad to see the Osaka one offer it too.

We stayed three nights and had a really good time. The room was a decent size, clean, and had a comfortable bed. Free coffee was a hit with my boyfriend, and there was complimentary sparkling and regular water too. I'd definitely come back.
