The room was never properly clean. There was hair on the floor from the moment we arrived, and the bathroom smelled the whole time. Housekeeping came once during our four-day stay. On the other days, we had to leave our trash outside, and they brought fresh towels. The staff weren't especially friendly, and when we got there at 2:40 pm, they charged us 2,000 yen for early check-in. Our Comfort Double Room was tiny, with no shelf or closet, just four hangers on the wall, even though it was booked for two and listed for up to three guests. With nowhere to put things, we lived out of our suitcases, and couldn't even open one all the way. I know small rooms are common in Japan, but the lack of storage made it much harder. The bed was rock-hard and left me sore. The AC and fridge switched off when we left, so the room was boiling when we came back. It also makes having a fridge feel pointless. Breakfast wasn't nice and didn't feel worth it, especially with plenty of nearby cafes open early. I get that it was a cheap deal, but it didn't feel like four-star service or a four-star hotel. I'd only suggest it for a night or two if you're travelling with very little luggage.

The rooftop bar was my favourite spot, with a good city view and decent cocktails. I was there around Halloween, so they had themed drinks. The room was clean, small, comfortable, and cozy, with fresh, crisp bedding. The automated check-in and checkout were useful and made everything efficient. Breakfast was good with quite a lot of variety, though the dining area felt cramped because it was small. There are also laundry facilities and an onsen. The amenities were enough for what I needed during my stay in Osaka.

The location was central, about a 30-minute walk to the city centre, with public transport easy to reach. Breakfast was delicious and had a decent range, and I liked the spa and rooftop bar. Staff were friendly, though their English wasn't very strong. The rooms were clean and included all the amenities, but they were very small and cramped for the price. Cleaning was only every third day, and the TV and Wi-Fi didn't work very well.

The onsen was big and clean, and after five nights I was pleased with the hotel. Towels came every day, while room cleaning happened every two days. The staff were kind enough to move us from the very tight double room to a slightly bigger twin room, which we appreciated, though even the new room was still small. There wasn't space for our luggage in the first one. Dotonbori was a 15-minute walk away, and nearby metro stations made it easy to get to Umeda or downtown.

May26, reception were helpful and the place was clean and comfortable. Dotonburi was amazingly only a 20-minute walk away. There were a few hiccups: our luggage got sent back because of a name issue, and the restaurant was closed to guests one night. I still need to try the “spa” (onsen?) and breakfast. The windows don't open, so the AC-only room gets stuffy.
