The place was clean and pleasant, but it was hard to relax with the noise. One guest used a hairdryer in the middle of the night and woke people up; the sink is right beside the beds, and the supplied earplugs didn't fit well or block much sound. The slippers you wear after taking off your shoes are also very noisy, so socks would be better, or quieter slippers. Leaving cash after checkout wasn't convenient either. Aside from those issues, things were okay.
A comfortable, clean hostel, and they supplied a toothbrush and towel. There was also a washer and dryer, both coin operated. It was a really good stay.
Glad I found this inn, it's in a very strategic spot. If I return to Osaka, I might stay here again.
It feels safe and it's clean, and the bright common area stays lit all night, which is handy for packing late or early. There are just tea bags, coffee, and black tea for free, while toothbrushes, towels, and earplugs are the only amenities. The washers and dryers cost extra. The layout makes noise hard to avoid. Each room combines private capsule-style beds, open space, and a bathroom, so one noisy person affects everyone. It's like having a guesthouse living room in your room, so late-night conversation isn't really an option. In peak season six people queued for showers between 11 PM and midnight, and the last person didn't get in until around 1 AM. Hair dryers, water, alarms, and slippers can all be heard, and with the common lights on 24 hours, there's no set sleeping time.
The kitchen had a microwave and kettle, and there were convenience stores nearby, including ○kame, Sa○zer○a, Don○Hotel, and Ya○iken, so meals were easy. The bed, kitchen, shower, toilet, and laundry are all on the same floor, which made the place pretty noisy. I'd have preferred the shower and washer elsewhere. I was traveling alone for the first time on my second visit to Osaka, and appreciated that this was a women-only capsule hotel. It's in a bar district, which made me a little uneasy about security, but they sent a PIN by Cmail beforehand and the door locked automatically. Some loud young people were outside, though it didn't cause a problem at night. Everyone staying there behaved well, and I was comfortable. There were about 10 people, but the only sound I heard through the open space above my upper bunk wall was the person next door talking in their sleep. I only planned on two nights with a backpack, so I hadn't brought pajamas or a face towel and ended up wearing jeans to the bathroom at night. Still, it was cheap, Osaka Station and the bus stop are walkable, and checkout isn't until noon, so there's time to take it easy. I'd stay again if I get the chance. Thank you for having me.
