Harmonie Embrassee Osaka

The staff were exceptional, and the nightly "osaka hour" at the hotel bar, with free drinks and snacks, was a nice extra. We stayed in the "Black Tea" room, which had a lovely balcony and city view. The room was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. Umeda station is also very close, making it easy to get around town. The biggest issue was the lack of outlets. There was only one near the floor, none by the bed for phones, and none in the bathroom for a hair dryer. I ended up sitting on the floor by the wall mirror to dry my hair. The bathroom door wouldn't stay open, so on sunny days it got VERY hot in there, hot enough to melt my chapstick. We had to prop the door open with a trash can. The toilet and bath were the most outdated facilities of all the places we stayed in Japan, even though this was our most expensive stay.

The room was a decent size, and the balcony was quite big with a stunning view. The hotel itself is beautiful. Staff were extremely polite and went above and beyond with their service, which was a real bonus. A major station is just a few minutes away on foot. There are also several convenience stores nearby, along with a good choice of eateries and bars. I'd highly recommend staying here if you're in Osaka.

The evening apero on the open terrace was a highlight for me. The rooms were impeccable, with a great view, and the service was excellent. It's centrally located near shopping and restaurants. I'd highly recommend it for a special experience and good value.

That huge patio and its view were great, and the room was comfortable. The staff were amazing, too. They even remembered my friend's birthday and gave him a small present. Free drinks are available from 7-10pm. The bathroom arrangement was a little odd, with glass along the side of the room and a curtain you need to draw for privacy. I've stayed in four hotels in Japan, and this was my favorite. I'd stay here again.
