I had to check out before 9 am, and the noise outside made it hard to fall asleep.

We booked for the low price and easy station access, and the double room was quite spacious. The bathtub and sofa were large too. But in the morning, we both had itchy spots on our legs that looked like a rash or insect bites, and the itching lasted until we left. I suspect mites, so I think the area around the bed needs attention. Amenities were basic but disposable and provided, and the bathrobes were winter-weight. Two staff members were pleasant, though one was unfriendly.

The room was reasonably spacious and cost 6K without meals, but the facilities were old and not very clean. I stayed on the third floor. Keep in mind the front desk collects a 200 yen lodging tax per person in cash. I'd stayed here before, when check-in was at 11 pm and check-out at 9 am, so there wasn't much time to stay.

The one bright spot was how helpful the front desk staff were. Outside, there are lots of izakayas, and on the weekend the noise went on all the time, so I couldn't sleep well. It's about a three-minute walk from Nishinakajima-Minamigata Station, with a Lawson nearby. Check-in is at 10 pm and check-out at 9 am, and the place definitely seemed like it used to be a love hotel. The TV was small, and I couldn't connect a Fire TV. The wooden fridge shelves looked very handmade, and the body soap bottle had no label, so I had to figure out what it was by elimination. There were bath towels but no face towels, and the bath mat was just a bath towel folded into thirds. I also found hair in the bathtub. The toothbrush surprised me because there was no toothpaste, but apparently toothpaste is already on the brush. There are outlets by the bed, but so many things were plugged in under the TV that I unplugged the humidifier myself.
