Hotel Livemax Osaka Yodoyabashi

Breakfast was just a small bento box, and if traditional Japanese breakfast dishes aren’t your thing, you might want to skip it. I booked through Agoda and emailed the hotel directly with a few questions, but never got a reply through Agoda or at the hotel’s business email.

I always stay here when I’m in japan, and I’ll keep coming back. The staff are consistently friendly and kind, and the little rooms are cute and have microwaves and fridges. I like the bathrooms too, especially the soft water. It’s a lovely place to sleep after a long day. 10/10, always recommend.

The location was the one real upside. Everything else felt pretty ordinary. The rooms were tiny, which I expected in Japan, but they also felt claustrophobic, with no space to breathe and no sunlight through the windows. The complimentary breakfast was a bento box and a bottle of green tea, and it wasn’t filling. I’ve stayed in more modest hotels that served a generous buffet. Just an average experience.

The location was great and the room was fine, but there was no cleaning service during our three-night stay. Looks like I’ll be reusing my towel tomorrow, then checking out.
