HOTEL Rex Inn Nanba - Vacation STAY 37978v

The meal course gave me a chance to try so many things I’d been wanting to eat in Osaka. We had a lovely dinner at the Rex Inn, with delicious food and really warm, friendly staff.

We started our Japan trip here, and the location made getting to Dotonbori and Namba easy, with a few stations nearby. The staff were helpful and friendly. The pancake machine was a hit, and we really appreciated having free drinks around the clock.

The room was small, as you’d expect in Japan, but it worked for one large and one small suitcase. With two large cases, you’ll probably need to open them one at a time or leave one packed. The hotel is close to the station, though with luggage, use Exit 10/ 5 for the elevator. The other exit only has stairs. We got to Osaka in the morning, hours before the 3 PM check-in. They let us leave our bags and have a simple pancake breakfast, plus something to drink. When we returned, our luggage had already been taken up to our room. Such lovely service. The amenities were there, and the staff were especially nice and friendly.

The location is really convenient, near Dotombori and an MRT station. My room worked well for a tourist out sightseeing all day, and it was cleaned daily. The bathroom was very clean too. Breakfast was simple, but good quality. The staff were so kind and welcoming. The only downside is that visiting friends can stay for just 15 minutes, though that’s the hotel’s policy.
