Hotel Trend Kyobashi Ekimae

It’s a very simple hotel in a good spot, only a five-minute walk from the train station.

A good place to unwind after a busy day. I recommend this hotel.

Getting to the station was easy, and the room window opened, which I appreciated. For a business trip, the location was a full 100%. There was no full-length mirror on the large wall by the door, though, and having one there would have made the room more comfortable. The part that really bothered me was the elderly woman at reception. Her tone, looks, and manner felt unpleasant from check-in right through check-out. It’s a hotel, so I wish she’d been a little more cheerful and welcoming.

The room was simple, clean, and roomy enough for one, and the shower had strong pressure. I was very happy with the stay, especially for the price. Kyobashi Station is within walking distance, and there’s a convenience store right by the hotel. On the first floor, the amenity bar is beside the elevator; on each guest floor there’s a microwave and robes near the elevators. The smoking room is ideal if you smoke. One small surprise, the room key was an actual key rather than a card. Haven’t seen one of those in ages. I stayed one night and would definitely come back.
