Booked on the day at the last minute, and they were really accommodating. The room had all the essentials, felt roomy for one person, and made a cozy place to return to after a long day. The train station, Dotonbori, and convenience stores were all an easy walk away. Great deal at $60 a night, depending on the dates. I'd book again, 10/5.

The room was spacious enough for two and gave us room to sort our things. It was clean and had nearly everything we could think of, including a hair dryer, slippers, toothbrushes, shower gel, a washing machine, fridge, and microwave. A drying rack would be useful, and I could've used more hangers. For the price, I thought it was good value. We were close to a metro stop, with Lawson, 7-11, a pharmacy, restaurants, and coffee nearby. Shinsaibashisuji was walkable too. Some reviews mentioned noise, but we didn't hear any. I'd recommend it to couples or solo travelers wanting to stay near the city center.

We booked through Booking.com several months before our trip at a good price. About a week before we were due to travel, the property asked us to cancel instead of offering another room. I honestly think they wanted to get more money than we'd paid, since a Google search showed the same dates listed for much more. That left us stressed, scrambling to find somewhere else during Golden Week, when places were expensive and hard to find. Thanks to Booking.com for sorting out our problem before we travelled. In reply to what you said about my review yesterday, I received an email from you asking me to cancel our booking for May 1-15, 2025. This was the right property. You can check with Booking.com, which should have a record of it.

The worst part was the noise. The apartment is right beside a flyover, and from the veranda you could reach out and touch it. Coming back to the door felt depressing, with either the flyover or its underside in view. There's also a small service road below. Workers unloading and loading in the early hours made it hard to get a peaceful night, and even with all the windows shut, I could hear engines idling. Ambulance and police sirens late at night and after midnight sometimes jolted me awake. Hot water was another problem. If you forget to press a hard-to-find button on the control panel after using it all day, you might have none the next day. Even after pressing it, it took five hours to heat the internal tank, which holds up to 80 litres. There's nobody to talk to in person after office hours, only by phone or email. On the plus side, it's a short walk, a few hundred metres, to Gate 7 of Nippombashi station, and the unit has most of what you'd expect in a small studio apartment. If I could choose again, I'd pay a little more for a good night's sleep rather than put up with this for several nights.
