Kamon Hotel Namba

The room was small, but clean enough, and the price felt fair for the quality. It's a convenient spot close to train stations. They don't offer room service, though fresh towels were provided each day. I was happy with my stay.

We were excited after seeing the photos, but the room looked nothing like them. It was dirty, had no windows, and was so cramped you could barely open a suitcase. The beds were basically cardboard under a blanket, so sleeping comfortably didn't seem possible. We walked out as soon as we saw it and had to book somewhere else. We explained why we were upset, but the manager didn't help and we weren't offered any kind of refund.

I had booked the room for four people, expecting the bunk beds shown in the photos. Instead, I opened the door, saw the beds and the room, and walked straight back out. We were there for maybe three minutes. The place was dirty, dark, and depressing, with thin mattresses on wooden boards, and looked nothing like the listing. I told them the photos felt completely misleading, almost like a scam. They kept my money, so I had to find another hotel for my family right then. Worst booking I've ever made, and the service was just as bad.

The front desk employees were kind and understanding, and the service itself was very good. Still, the room was tiny and the beds were in such poor condition that they weren't comfortable at all. We had to leave and book another hotel, but they wouldn't refund us. The manager didn't help with anything, which made the place feel like a scam.
