Hotel Mystays Premier Dojima

We arrived from Kyoto at 9:30 am after traveling from there at 8:30, but check-in wasn't until 1:30 pm. When we got to the room, there were no water bottles. My husband called the front desk and was told the hotel doesn't provide bottled water and that we should buy it outside. That's ridiculous service. I don't understand why there isn't a zero rating for a place this poor. I wouldn't recommend this hotel in OSAKA. Shame on them.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I paid for the reservation online, with the taxes and municipal fees included, but at checkout they said I had to pay extra money or I couldn't check in. This hotel is trying to charge me more. DONT COME TO THIS HOTEL.

If you can manage with a compact room, this is a solid option for the money in Osaka. Our room for two was undeniably tiny, which was disappointing at first, but it was laid out well and clean, and worked fine for sleeping. The staff were kind, though their English was limited. Good service and value overall.

The location was really nice, near Shinagawa station (Osaka station), so getting around was easy. The room, a superior queen, was fine until we saw mold in every corner of the bathroom. Staff were professional, though one seemed a little annoyed when we didn't understand the breakfast arrangement and had to ask again. Breakfast came as one of six set meals. Each day, you had to go to reception for a voucher for the following morning and tell them which meal you wanted. They marked it on the voucher, which you handed in at the breakfast hall the next day. Coffee, juice, and miso soup were self-serve there. Half the hotel was under construction during our October 2025 stay, so maybe they're upgrading and dealing with the mold. Either way, we won't be back.
