Naniwanomiya Hotel

There were lots of mosquitoes in my room, and the water heater didn’t work properly, which was inconvenient. The staff also didn’t seem very friendly. I felt like they didn’t like having foreign guests like me. I hope the hotel fixes these things and gives future guests a better experience.

I couldn’t stay this time, but I’d definitely like to visit in the future. I accidentally booked the hotel because I confused it with another destination in Izumiotsu, then had to cancel at short notice. The staff dealt with it professionally and were very understanding. I really appreciate their kindness and support. Thanks again for the excellent service.

This was my first trip to Japan, and it’s been a fantastic holiday 😀. Matsumi and the hotel staff were so friendly and easy to talk to. They gave us great advice and directions for getting around by train, including navigating all the stations in between 👍. The shuttle drivers were friendly and right on time, making those short trips to the station pleasant every time ✨️. Our room was excellent, clean, and had a great view of the osaka castle ✨️. I had a really relaxing, comfortable stay in Osaka, one of my best holidays so far. Big thanks to the lovely KKR staff who made this a memory for life ❤️. I’m already looking forward to coming back. This will be my go-to hotel in Osaka ❤️. Keep up the great spirit and making guests feel happy and safe!

The shuttle driver was rude and unwelcoming when we were leaving. We had luggage, and he tried to keep us off, saying the bus was full with no room. There were seven empty seats, including four together at the very back. When I asked if those were full too, he said I could try if I thought we’d fit. We did fit, and there was still room for a few more passengers. That’s not the sort of driver I’d want representing the hotel. This happened at 3pm on October 26, 2024. He was male, older, and had a shaved head. I didn’t know about the shuttle from Morinomiya Station when we first arrived, and wish I’d known, though that’s not the hotel’s fault. I saw reviews mentioning a smoke smell, but for us it was very mild to nonexistent.
