noku OSAKA

The staff were a big help when I accidentally booked the extra night for the wrong dates. I was on vacation from the US, and this was a lovely base for getting around Osaka by metro. If you're on the taller side, I'd recommend booking a premium room. I'd happily stay here again.

Tom from Myanmar was especially kind and helpful with our requests, and his warm, professional service made a real difference. The whole property was spotless, from the lobby and hallways to our room, which made it easy to relax after a long journey. I came from Sydney, and my two sisters travelled from the Philippines. We were all impressed with the stay. There was one disappointing moment on November 20. I arrived around lunchtime after roughly 12 hours travelling from Sydney to Osaka, including a connection in Tokyo, and was exhausted. At reception, a woman told me check-in wasn't possible until 3:30 pm. That was hard to hear after such a long trip. Still, the cleanliness and service were excellent, and we're grateful to Tom for how well he looked after us. Highly recommended. Kristan from Sydney☺️

I had a serious safety incident here and can't recommend the property. I was asked to leave and did so, but once I was outside, a male staff member followed me and made a threatening move. I felt intimidated and unsafe. I reported it, though police would not take a formal report because there had been no physical contact. I've also filed a formal complaint with the property. Based on what happened, I'd strongly caution others about staff conduct and guest safety.

The room seemed small for what I paid, and there wasn't much room to open a suitcase properly, which hurt the value. Noku is conveniently placed, about a 10-minute walk from Ōsakatemmangū station on the JR line and Minami-Morimachi station on the Osaka metro. There's also laundry on the ground floor, handy if you're staying longer.
