Ookini Hotels Nipponbashi Apartment

The location is handy, close to a subway stop, convenience stores, Kuromon Market, and Dotonbori. Check-in and check-out were easy. But our room on the second floor smelled of oily frying from the restaurant next door all day, even with the windows shut. A couple of things to know: after the automatic refill period, shower hot water has to be refilled manually if you’ve used it. You’ll also need to ask the front desk about your apartment’s towel-change and rubbish-collection schedule. Taken together, the stay felt neutral to me.

The apartment had plenty of space, cooking amenities, and a washing machine. It’s near attractions and Namba’s shopping district, with the subway right next door. Check-in was smooth. Just note that the front desk isn’t staffed around the clock.

Our family of five fit comfortably, with three full-size beds, a small living room for watching TV, a little kitchen with basic amenities, and a separate toilet and shower. Shops and a convenience store are close by. Run the hot water for a bit before showering so it’s ready.

Convenience stores are around, and the subway is just a minute or two away on foot. Staff were nice and tried to help with everything. The room and its facilities were nice too.
