Osaka Dome

The room was very clean and spacious, and the included breakfast was excellent. We stayed for three nights and had a misunderstanding with our reservation. Since the staff didn’t speak English, sorting it out took some patience, but we did manage to resolve everything.

The staff were lovely and spoke English very well, so I didn’t worry about getting lost in translation. I’ll definitely book here again for my next concert at Kyocera Dome, even if there are other hotels around. It was only a 9-minute walk from Taishō Station, and I took the Kansaikuko Line from KIX Airport, the cheapest train at ¥1,060. The hotel is right in front of the stadium, just across the traffic lights, and the price was affordable. I could drop my bag, show my passport, have them check the reservation, then head out early to queue. Check-in was easy, with a machine available after 10pm. My concert ended around 11pm, and staff were still at reception to help if I had trouble with the machine. There was enough room to open my suitcases, and they gave us a cute robe to sleep in. Breakfast was included too, starting from 6-9am if I’m remembering right, but I was too worn out to get up and skipped it. Late checkout was available for ¥100,000 /hour until 2pm, then full price after 2pm, if I’m remembering right.

The price was good, and the location was pretty good too. I had a great stay.
