The staff were helpful and friendly about explaining the dorm rules. They were flexible with requests as long as you were clear, like leaving luggage before check-in or asking for directions to tourist spots or a unique experience. Some beds felt a little cramped, with too little room for luggage. The guidelines say you can use the balcony drying area to store bags, but it's outdoors with no cover at all. I can't imagine anyone actually wanting to leave luggage there.

They let me leave my luggage when I arrived early, and I had my own key for the room. The communal area was comfortable, with free toast and coffee. Showers are shared rather than private, though men and women have separate rooms, and they do a very good job cleaning them. It's about a 15-minute walk to Osaka station, and the route can be confusing, but being near such a popular destination is still convenient. There aren't many restaurants in the area, though I'd recommend the small traditional Izakayas nearby.

Getting around on your own is easy with the cheap bike rental, 500yen per person. The twin room was small, but just about fit four people, and it was clean and comfortable. The location is good for Osaka station, where you can go anywhere from.

I had a nice stay here. It's a good location, and the staff are friendly. If you want somewhere cheap with a comfy bed and warm shower, this is a good choice. There seemed to be plenty of socializing, but I hardly saw anyone in the common areas while I was there.

We could leave our luggage before checkout time, which was helpful. The place has good amenities and friendly staff, and it's close to JR and subway stations as well as bus stops. A great place to stay in Osaka.
