Hot Spring OSAKA HINODE HOTEL NIPPONBASHI

We loved staying here. It's right across from Osaka tower, with markets and places to eat all around, and laundry machines on site. If you want to explore Osaka without venturing far from the hotel, it works well. There's free ramen and drinks every night, and breakfast has a huge spread with pretty much everything you could want. Such a fun hidden gem.

The lobby and shared spaces can get crowded, especially with tour groups, so keep that in mind. We still had a really enjoyable stay in March 2026, with a lot included for the price. After long days on foot, it was great to choose between the public and private Onsen. The rooftop was another favorite, a nice open spot to relax, and the free daily ramen and self-serve cocktails made evenings feel generous and fun.

The complimentary treats were such a nice touch after a day out, especially the evening ramen, drinks, and ice cream. Our room was comfortable and well equipped, and the onsen was a lovely place to relax. The hotel was clean and looked well cared for, with friendly, helpful staff. It's also convenient for getting around, just a short walk from the train station and near restaurants and attractions. Great value and a welcoming atmosphere. I'd stay again.

The room was roomy by Japan hotel standards, with a large bathroom, and the mattress was comfortable. I did get a very flat pillow, though, and when I asked for another, they had none left. The bathroom also had a sewage-like smell. Those were my main complaints. The place is huge and gets lots of guests, especially tour groups, but it's remarkably clean. Front desk service was excellent, with several very helpful staff who spoke good English. Evenings come with free drinks and ramen, though it gets busy. There's a free onsen, plus a private bath you can rent at a fair price, which is nice to share with your partner for some privacy. The location is handy, a minute from the subway, with a grocery store next door and Lawson, 7 eleven, and family mart within a few minutes. Cheap laundry is available in the building, but there are only two washers and two dryers. I got lucky and never had to wait. For the price, the excellent service and other perks make the drawbacks easy enough to overlook.
