Plum Hotel

The rooms felt cozy and handy, and everything was comfortable and clean. It’s not a luxury place, just a lovely stay all around. The staff were especially nice, friendly and helpful.

There’s a laundry service nearby, and it’s a short walk to Daikokucho stn. I loved the price and the size of the room.

It worked well for our family of four. We could walk to Dotonbori in about 15-20 minutes, and public transport was close by. They also let us leave our luggage when we arrived before check-in and after check-out when our flight was later. Our towels were changed and beds made each day. A very nice hotel.

The front desk staff were the most enthusiastic and service-minded I’ve ever met. They made the whole hotel feel warm and welcoming. There’s a big supermarket about a five-minute walk away with lots of affordable everyday things. The hotel doesn’t supply bottled water, but there’s a kettle in the room to boil your own. In our room, the AC blew right toward both the bed and desk, so cool air reached almost everywhere except the hallway and bathroom. If you like it chilly, that’s probably nice. If you’re sensitive to drafts, keep it in mind.
