We booked the two-hour gin-no-take for me and my girlfriend, hoping it might help with our hangover. Getting there was easy, and the service and rooms were great. We left feeling clean, relaxed, and refreshed, and the experience was better than we expected for the price. A good choice if you want a private luxury onsen.

The staff were so kind and attentive, and we left feeling completely renewed. After a week of walking around Japan, we really needed a break like this. The sauna, cold plunge, and hot tub did the trick, and the complimentary drinks and high-end hair tools made getting ready afterward easy. Such a lovely spa visit in Osaka, I’d happily recommend it.

We only booked two hours and ended up wishing we’d chosen four. The staff were lovely, friendly, and spoke great English. The whole experience was full of thoughtful touches, from heated towel racks to the free hair dryers, flat irons, hair ties, and other amenities. We could play music, watch TV, and order Uber Eats if we wanted to stay longer. We were welcomed with smiles and drinks, then taken straight to our room with refreshments and robes. Just outside Dontonburi, this private, luxurious onsen is foreigner and tattoo friendly. It’s a great romantic option if you and your partner are having trouble finding an onsen you can use together. We were amazed by it and will come back whenever we visit Osaka. A must for anyone hoping to try a traditional Japanese experience.

For the price, this was a great place to unwind, and the two staff members were really nice. We didn’t catch the name of the person who checked us in, but she and Ni were both polite and welcoming. It’s only about a ten-minute drive from our APA hotel, and booking recently was easy. We picked [Kin-no-take], which I believe is the wood bath rather than the rock bath. For two people, the amenities were great: a cold plunge, sauna, and Onsen bath, all with a relaxing, at-home feel. It’s tattoo friendly, even though we weren’t heavily decorated, and the location was convenient. You can play music, but people nearby are still around, so be considerate. Good value overall.

Our legs and feet were sore after two weeks of walking around Japan, so this was exactly the rest we needed. We found Takenoya near where we were staying in Osaka and booked the day before. The two-hour session included a rock bath, cold dip, sauna, a full room, and plenty of amenities. There was a fridge stocked with free drinks and ice cream, and we could bring food or order some in. The TV had apps for watching whatever we wanted while we relaxed. Staff explained everything clearly and made us feel welcome. We could pick an oil scent for the sauna, and they brought complimentary tea or coffee about 20 minutes before the session ended. There were hair, face, and body washes, plus a Dyson hair dryer and styling tools. I ran out of time to try the styler. It was a really relaxing experience and well worth the money, especially if you’re staying nearby. I’d recommend it to anyone wanting to try an Onsen in Osaka.
