We slept really well, and they even let us check out a few hours late to fit our plans. The room was clean, spacious, and in good order. Staff were sweet and capable, and brought us an extra duvet, sheets, and an iron when we asked. It's easy to get around from this central area, with kiosks, restaurants, and the tube station nearby. The room had a small kitchen with a microwave, a huge TV, and lots of bathroom accessories.

We were on the tenth floor, facing a multi-storey car park. The view was a metal-sheet wall and other worn-down buildings, and street noise kept coming through even with the windows shut. The balcony was too noisy to use. The room itself was clean, well equipped, and bigger than what's typical in Japan. But this felt more like a house with lots of apartments than a traditional hotel. There was no regular room service, restaurant, or spa. With the poor view and noise, I wouldn't recommend this "hotel" to anyone looking for a pleasant outlook and acceptable noise levels.

The room was as roomy as it looked in the photos, and we slept comfortably every night. It had a balcony, though there wasn't much of a view, and the washer-dryer was especially handy for a longer stay. The area was quiet and convenient, with plenty of food along the main road, fruit shops, and even the zoo within walking distance. We'd originally booked Tanimachikun Hotel We Namba, but about a month before the trip they said they couldn't host us and offered cancellation or a move to Tanimachi-kun HOTEL Ebisucho 72. It was peak season, most of our ideal hotels were full, and this one was already on my shortlist, though I hadn't liked the layout at first, so we accepted. Communication was a little worrying because messages still went to the original hotel and the system later said it was "no longer available." Once I found the right contact, it was sorted quickly. Both places are in the same group, so it wasn't a major problem. It has an Airbnb-style setup. There is a front desk if you're having luggage delivered, and toothbrushes and extra amenities are self-service in the lift lobby. We really enjoyed staying at Tanimachi-kun HOTEL Ebisucho 72 and would consider coming back.

The four-person rooms are spacious, have a terrace, and come well equipped. The location in Osaka's Naniwa ward is fairly convenient. Seems a good fit if you prefer not to have housekeeping staff coming by.
