I liked the comfortable vibe, and though I didn't read any of the books, the space felt nice. The beds were super comfortable, and the free coffee was great. I also felt much more at ease with the lockable drawer in the bed. 7/11 is a few doors down, and there's a communal fridge for storing things. As a woman traveling alone, I had a good stay, but the rooms don't lock and there are quite a lot of people staying here. More comfortable seating in the shared area would help.

It gets very quiet after 23:00, which is the house rule, and the guests were young and tidy. This is a nice hostel with a good common area and a few unisex rain shower rooms. Most of the staff are on working holidays and are nice. There's no elevator, so pack light. The only drinking water is hot water from the coffee machine, which has a strange taste. I wish they had a filter and room temperature water. The coffee tastes awful too.

The common area was bright and welcoming, and the facilities were always clean. My bunk was spacious, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. During my 5 nights, July 06 to 10, I felt comfortable and didn't run into any problems. If I return to Ōsaka, I'll stay here again.

There’s a 711 just a few units down the street, handy if you get hungry at night. The hostel is about a 10 minutes away from Shinsaibashi station, and there's an elevator that takes you directly outside the entrance, useful if you have heavy luggage. It's very clean and well maintained, and the staff are friendly and helpful. It feels safe and offers a good amount of privacy for females. Each capsule has a small lockable drawer, and there's also a private locker for valuables while you sleep.

I got a warm greeting both when I arrived and when I came back. It's a cozy place with rooms for same and mix genders, and it did the job for a reasonable price when I just needed somewhere to sleep and shower. Towels and a toothbrush are free if you book through the website, otherwise there's a small fee. It's near train stations and within walking distance of attractions.
