The room felt dusty and had a dark color scheme, but it was bigger than other double rooms I’ve had in Japan. The location is excellent, close to both the shopping street and Kurumon market.

Breakfast was a highlight, with a tasty, fresh selection, and the room had plush bedding and stunning views. Hotel Trad was spotless, beautiful, and well kept. From arrival, the attentive, warm staff made me feel like royalty. Every detail felt luxurious and cared for. I’ll be back soon.

The hotel is lovely and well maintained, but the staff are what made it special. Everyone we met, from the front desk to housekeeping, was attentive without hovering and always had a smile. They were quick to help with whatever we needed and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived.

The front desk was great, and the location worked well. The bedside table was dusty. In the bunk bed room there wasn’t space to open our luggage, though the bed was bigger than the average Japanese business hotel bed.

Dotombori is right outside, so we didn’t need a large room. The space was on the small side but had everything we needed, and it was quiet and well located. I’d recommend it to couples or friends who are fine with a smaller room.
