Y's Cabin Osaka Namba

The location is excellent, and the place is very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful, and there's a pleasant lounge and kitchen area. The main drawback is the capsules: they're crammed close together with little ventilation, so nights get hot and stuffy, and other guests can be noisy. On the sixth floor there are two public baths, like sento, but women usually get access to the larger, nicer one. Also, despite what Agoda says, there isn't a swimming pool. Maybe they mean the hot water bath. It was okay for a one-night stay.

I've stayed here twice, partly because the location is so good. It's comfortable and has both a public bath and sauna. Just know that the rooms can be shared by a lot of people. Some guests come back late from the nearby shopping center with big bags and make noise. During my stay, people were rustling plastic bags and talking in their rooms around midnight, even though the hotel clearly posts quiet hours.

The sleeping pods were much roomier than I expected, with a TV, mirror, power sockets, and soundproofing. Each level also has five common toilets, all very clean and odor-free, with bidets and pretty much everything you need. Wish there were more places like this!

One of my best hostel or pod stays across the 50+ countries I've visited. The location is great, about a 5-6 minute walk from Namba Station, with food and nightlife nearby. Everything felt clean and safe, and there was storage too. The staff were really friendly and accommodating. Check-in is at 4 pm and they stick to that, but you can use the lounge and luggage area for free beforehand. The showers are traditional Japanese onsen-style, with lockers, and they provide the toilet amenities. There's also a sauna and a warm, relaxing area, but no swimming pool. Highly recommend.
