Hotel Route-Inn Ota Minami - Route 407

The rooms are clean, service is good, and breakfast is awesome. It has everything I’d expect from a hotel at this level.

A small town hotel, but it’s clean and very comfortable.

The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, and the shower pressure was good. I also liked the toilet layout: the seat faced at an angle to the entrance, so my knees didn’t hit the wall when I sat down. For a business hotel, it had everything I needed, including a luggage rack, which isn’t something I often find at other business hotels. The room was a good size, with a semi-double bed that was just right for one person, plus a closet. There were two pairs of slippers, one sturdier and not soggy, the other thinner and a bit soggy. A small touch, but I appreciated it. Soggy slippers are hard to put on since you have to stretch the instep with your hands every time you take them out of the bag. Overall, a good hotel.

There are two elevators, and the rooms have TVs that work with various subscription VOD services, air purifiers, and dimmable lights. There’s no welcome mineral water, though. The bathrooms feel a little dated, with separate hot and cold faucets that you adjust by turning them, and the shower pressure was weak. There are plenty of parking spaces, but they tend to fill by around 6 PM, so timing matters. Free coffee is available at the front desk, but there’s only one machine and it gets crowded after breakfast. The hotel has useful amenities and a convenient location, but the wear and tear is noticeable. It should work for people prioritizing price and location, though anyone looking for newer facilities may find it hard to choose.
