Cortina was as beautiful as people say, and getting to the hills was easy, just two minutes away. Jason was an amazing host and drove us to several different areas. He was very helpful.

The room felt spacious and homey, and the location was right on the slopes for ski-in/ski-out access. Jason was such a lovely, accommodating host. We honestly couldn’t fault our stay at Cortina Apartments and can’t wait to return to Hakuba. Thanks, Jason!

Jason is amazing, thoughtful, organized, and quick to respond. He even drove me around, and when I forgot my gloves, he came to the ski resort to bring them to me. There were breakfast basics waiting when I arrived, and he arranged lift passes for guests at 2000 yen less. I don’t know how he manages it, but skiing at Cortina for three days would save you at least 6000 yen. This was such a lucky find, and it’ll be my go-to home in Hakuba. I prefer a small place to a big hotel, and with only four rooms this apartment was perfect. I love how spacious and idyllic it is. It’s right by the slopes with lovely mountain views and ski-in/ski-out access. Everything was clean and well maintained. I love skiing on the Cortina slopes, so the location suited me perfectly. My routine was skiing, then an onsen at Hotel green plaza with Jason’s coupon for just 500 yen per person, and Netflix at night. The price was very reasonable too. I was travelling solo, but the room would work well for couples as well. Reviewed by travel girl Kelly from Hong Kong.

The room was beautifully presented and had everything we could need, and the location was perfect. Jason, the owner, was fantastic and went well beyond what we expected. I’d happily give this place my highest rating, and I’ll definitely return to Cortina Apartments.

Jason was kind and very helpful. He shuttled us to ski resorts and grocery stores around Hakuba, and offered to take us downtown for dinner, but we declined because we liked staying in our room and enjoying the view and quiet surroundings. He did our laundry, kept the breakfast supplies topped up each morning, and checked that we had everything we needed. He also gave great skiing and snowboarding advice, and was a wonderful person to get to know while he was helping us. The apartments offered more than we expected, and were easily the best place we stayed in Hakuba Valley/Otari. With ski-in/ski-out access, the location was hard to beat, and we loved the place.
