Hotel Luna Otsu

The room was awful. The air conditioner was noisy, and its filter-cleaning indicator was on. The bathroom door screws were loose, the shower nozzle leaked, and the jacuzzi didn't work. The member benefits were confusing. Benefit 2 was two free food items, and Benefit 3 was two free items from the grand menu, each ordered separately on the panel. I ordered the two free food items, then tried to choose from the grand menu. It showed one free item, but as soon as I added it to the cart, it became paid. I caught that just before confirming payment. The delivered menu's chili oil was empty, too. Ridiculous. There was no survey form, a first for me. When I pressed the button to pay at checkout, the amount was clearly wrong. The front desk admitted the mistake after I checked, and I'd been charged about 5000 yen too much. Everyone should press "Details" and check before paying. Other reviewers have said Alexa doesn't do what the laminate lists, like adjust the lights or turn on the aroma diffuser by saying "device XX." When I said, "Alexa is useless," it silently turned off the power.

Saturday was a bit pricey, and the good reviews had led me to pick this place, so I was disappointed. Nobody answered the phone when I tried to check in. An employee eventually came to reception and got me checked in, but then the key wouldn't open the room. They came to unlock it, but it still wouldn't open. After I went back to ask again, they said the door was heavy and I had to push hard. I finally got in, only to find the projector wouldn't turn on. An employee checked and found its power cable unplugged. The jet bath was no good either. Only one or two of its ten nozzles sprayed when I pressed the button, and there were no faucets. The only things I liked were the massage bed and free membership service.

The service is good, but please fix the water and shower faucets, and the jacuzzi too. Also, when I order food, I wish you'd bring it to the door or inside instead of handing it directly to me.

After climbing at the nearby rock climbing gym until 10:30 PM, I couldn't get an Uber and was about to miss the last bus. I asked the restaurant owner to help, and thanks to her I managed to hail a taxi back to the station. That was amazing!
