The sunrise over the sea from the room was gorgeous. But sound carries through the walls. Around 01:30, noise from the next room kept me awake, and when I called the front desk at 100 for help, nobody picked up. I ended up calling the room myself to ask them to quiet down. That was really disappointing.

The garden was such a calming spot. Since seaside daisies only bloom during a certain season, it looked like they planted similar flowers, like marguerites, outside that period. From my room, the sea was amazing, all sparkles in the sun, with the waves crashing below. I felt incredibly relaxed, and the staff were kind too. Next time, I’d like to take a walk on the beach.

There aren't any shops nearby, so this is a pretty isolated spot. Namiita Beach, a surfing mecca in Iwate, is right in front of you. The shop doesn't sell alcohol, though you can get beer from the vending machines. I stayed in a Japanese-style room, and the futon was so thin I woke up sore, lol. The food was generous and good. I was especially happy to see regular spaghetti Napolitana at breakfast and tuna in the salad section, things I hadn't seen at other hotels. (^O^)
