The bathroom was spotless, with strong water pressure and hot water that came through quickly. Its design reminded me of a nicer mobile home bathroom, haha. The hotel is near the station, the service was friendly, and I found the self-service check-in and check-out very convenient. The room itself was clean and there was no sign of bed bugs, but I took off a star because the blankets had a little dust, hair, and other bits on them. The pillow covers were thin and the pillows lightly stuffed, though nothing too bad. The pajamas were thicker and better quality than the ones at our hotel in Fukuoka. The walls didn't block much sound. I was woken several times by crying babies and noisy people in the hallway. I might stay again, but I'd look at other places first.

The room was so hot that I had to leave the window open, and even then the AC didn't cool it enough. That brought outdoor noise in, while the thin walls also let indoor noise through. This was a major letdown after staying at Comfort Matsuyama and Takamatsu. This Comfort hotel felt nothing like them. It's very old, cramped, and outdated, so I definitely wouldn't recommend it.

The hotel is attached to the station, where there's food and shopping, and the price is good for what you get. They also have luggage lockers you can use if you arrive early. Breakfast had a good variety of quality food, including healthy options.

The breakfast was okay and better than I expected from the reviews here: around three or four hot dishes, plus bread, fruit juice, and salad. The dining area is small. The room is also small, but manageable for two people. The hotel is right beside Saga Station and has nice extras like an ice pillow and a foot pillow.

The Wi-Fi was very good, and for the low price the room was fine, clean, and had what I needed. The lighting was cold white throughout, which felt uncomfortable in the evening. The bathroom is tiny, and breakfast was very basic, though the coffee was good.
