The owner was so friendly, and they speak English, so don't worry about communicating. I spent one night here and had an amazing time. Dinner included sashimi, curry rice, grilled dishes, and lemon sour, all good. The room and shared facilities were clean too. We rented e-bikes for three hours to explore the town and its beautiful views; an eight-hour rental is available as well. Friday nights bring a local music band, so we got to enjoy the meal with live music. It was perfect with friends or family. They also hold Yukinoura week during golden week, so visit Saikai city if you get the chance. Best experience I've had in Japan.

The view from the room was amazing, with the river visible through the window. The room and facilities were comfortable, and the people there made us feel very welcome. Their English was excellent, and their experience helped us feel at ease. You can also rent an e-bike to explore the area and its beautiful spots. Come see this hidden place in Nagasaki!

The owner was exceptionally kind and welcoming, and I enjoyed hearing his lecture about revitalizing Yukinoura. As an ST student, I found it interesting and inspiring. His passion made me want to visit more rural places in Japan and support tourism there. He even prepared drinks himself at the bar. The chef, a lovely Japanese woman, spoke excellent English and patiently explained each dish. Their care made the experience memorable. This guesthouse has a cozy feel and a lot of nature around it. I was impressed that an abandoned house had been turned into such a lovely place. The classic lobby has a full glass window looking out over the forest and river, plus charming details like CD players, CDs, and other decorations. There's also a bar counter and free Wi-Fi throughout. Our room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and we could see the river from the window. There are two bathrooms, one with a tub where we could enjoy a relaxing Ofuro. It felt like a dream of a place, and I hope I can return.

Tokuro Watanabe-san made us feel very welcome. He shared the story of Yukiura village and his own career, giving us an interesting glimpse into the local culture he is working to preserve. He helped us arrange electric bikes for a visit to the Ohno church and introduced the drinks and dishes at dinner. The meal at Yukiura Guesthouse Moritaya was a real treat, with fresh vegetables, pasta, curry rice, and sashimi, all carefully prepared. During the Beer Hall event, our host also introduced us to a selection of drinks. The house had a warm, woody atmosphere. Our room was spotless and comfortable, with a notably good bed. The bathroom and toilet were clean and well maintained too. A special place for its food, comfortable stay, and heartfelt hospitality.
