Iwatsuki Waterhotel Mw - Adult Only

It's a good hotel, but I wish services like Prime Video and Netflix were available to use at no extra charge. I was surprised I had to go to the hotel to watch them with my own account.

I'm staying here now, after booking and reading the reviews. The staff, including the people on the phone, have been very friendly. The room isn't dirty, exactly, but it's so old, and it doesn't feel clean to me at all, despite what others wrote. The bathroom and sink look like something from the early Heisei era. I had expected a clean room from all those reviews, so this is a huge letdown. I wish the rooms had been updated to match the lobby and front desk. I know that may be hard to fix, but I just want to leave. The bathroom is gross.

The long breaks you can take here are a real plus. I mentioned that the piano stool in Room 215 would be better if it could adjust in height, and I'm glad to say it has now been replaced with an adjustable one. They really do pay attention to reviews, feedback, and requests. I'd also like to have the piano tuned, but it's much easier to play now. Thanks so much. I'll keep coming back. 4/24 Update

This time I tried to arrange the same 6-day stay as before, but the woman who answered the phone was awful. She wouldn't tell me why she couldn't meet my requests this time, even though the staff had done their best on my last stay. She asked for my name but wouldn't give me hers. That was cowardly, and a real disappointment after how helpful the manager was previously. After that stay I wrote that I'd use the hotel again, and the manager replied, "Please come again!" Now I'm extremely disappointed and won't return. The phone service is the face of the hotel. Last time, I wrote that the staff had been incredibly helpful and that I'd definitely use their services again.
