The room was comfortable, and the hotel is well fitted out, close to the station, and reasonably priced. It also rents rooms by the hour, which means there are handy extras like plenty of toiletries and a full-size Japanese bath. Check-in was at 22:00, with an extra charge for checking in earlier, but they kindly held our bags while we went to dinner. Not much English is spoken, though we managed, and they can connect you to WiFi to help. I’d stay again.

It’s strange that you can’t call the hotel directly to book a room and have to make reservations through third-party sites. The reservation system isn’t very good.

It’s easy to use, but I still have concerns after what happened. The fire alarm rang for around 30 minutes. I suppose these things can happen, but when I called, the response felt half-hearted. Staff didn’t explain what had happened, beyond saying it was a false alarm and there was no fire. With so many emergency response problems happening lately, it left me wondering whether they’d handle a real incident properly.

I was in town for an event at Saitama Super Arena. The hotel is near the station and reasonably priced compared with others nearby, which makes it a good pick if cost matters most. The route there goes through streets with lots of izakaya touts, hostess clubs, and girls’ bars. The staff were polite on the phone and in person, and I had no particular issues with their guidance. My room had a slight smell, but there wasn’t any noticeable noise and I had no major complaints. The atmosphere sits somewhere between a love hotel and a business hotel, so people may feel differently about it.

Hair was all over the place, and the bedding smelled awful. When I raised it with staff, they just clicked their tongues instead of offering proper service. What kind of three-star hotel is this? The worst hotel, and I’m never going back.
