Ryotei Jyusouya

The place is easy to reach, but take care with the entrances. The side with the noren curtain is the back door. The main entrance is by the free parking lot at Jusanya. Service is polite and a little laid-back, which actually makes it easier to unwind. The building and rooms are meticulously clean, with seasonal ornaments and decorations that add to the peaceful feel. The bath water felt good, and I could really feel its effect on my skin. The food was delicious, and the dishes, presentation and serving temperatures were all satisfying. Smoking isn't allowed inside, but there's a smoking area just outside the back entrance, unlocked even at night. The room refrigerator had various items, and water was free. I didn't notice any vending machines in the building. The one thing I missed was a chair in the room. Even a stool would've been nice.

The food is probably the best of any inn in the area. The chefs are skilled with everything from appetizers and sashimi to soup and meat dishes. Sadly, the service has fallen well short. I didn't notice this before, but now there are small things the guests find unpleasant. It's a shame to see that alongside such good food. People may still come for the food, but bad service can mean they never return.

The food is really good and the portions are huge, and we enjoyed the hot bath and the rest of the service. It's a healing, relaxing spot not far from downtown Osaka. Staff can speak a little English, and the service was great. The food was absolutely delicious!! 😌♡

We went to this restaurant two years ago for my parents' 77th birthday. They'd been there several times before and always said the food was delicious, so we chose it for what felt like a special high-end occasion. The service was very polite. They brought matcha tea first, then served the meal in a separate room. I hate to say it, but I didn't enjoy the food at all. Maybe my expectations were too high, but it was disappointing. My parents also felt the taste had gone downhill since their earlier visits. Thank you for being so kind to us, but I don't think we'll come back.
