Watch the dates carefully when booking. I chose the wrong dates on Booked.net and had booked a non-refundable room. I cancelled that same day and even faxed the hotel to confirm and ask if they could make an exception, but they still wouldn’t refund my money.

The location worked well, close to Lopia supermarket and Kotoni station, and breakfast was delicious. Receptionist Mr Saito gave excellent service.

We were glad to be near Kotoni subway, about a 15-minute walk away, because the JR line was basically out of commission most of the time due to heavy snow. The hotel is also only around a 2-minute walk from Kotoni JR.

The shower had strong water pressure, though its temperature kept shifting from my setting to hot while I was using it. Otherwise, it was a great stay: the rooms were quite spacious and really quiet, and there’s free coffee in the lobby. It’s just one stop from Sapporo station, so getting around was easy without staying right in the transport hub. Grocery stores are easy to find nearby, and access from Kotoni station is simple without needing to go outside.

Friendly, attentive staff and clean, comfortable rooms made this a good value stay. It’s a short walk from the station, which made getting around easier. I’d recommend it if you want a budget-friendly place near the station.
